This week has been tough. This week, David's Aunt Margaret passed away. We spent Easter Sunday with Margaret and the rest of the family... and really had a great day. Monday morning, Margaret went to be with her Lord. It's been hard seeing David's family.. my family.. hurting. My prayer is that through Margaret's death, others will find new life in Christ. Today was the funeral. The pastor of the church where Margaret had been attending officiated the service. He spoke of Margaret's relationship with Christ, and how she believed that He died on the cross for her. We sang Blessed Assurance, The Old Rugged Cross at Margaret's request.. These were songs that the pastor would sing when he would make visits to Mamaw's house when they could not get to church on Sunday mornings. The pastor told how Margaret wanted these songs played because she believed the words.. and took comfort in them. What a testimony of her life.. Blessed Assurance, Jesus is Mine.. At the graveside service, the pastor spoke about how to make sure you're going to Heaven when you die.. because Margaret wanted everyone to know... I pray, and ask you to pray that these words pierced the hearts of my precious family.. many whom do not know the Lord..
Here are some pictures of Aunt Margaret.. or as David called her "Aunt Mimi"..
Easter Sunday

Please pray for David and the entire family -- Margaret was only 52, and leaves behind three daughters, grandchildren, her mother (David's Mamaw), and many nieces and nephews.. They are all hurting so much. Please also pray for me.. that I would know how to comfort my sweet husband.. and how to show this family the great love of my Father.
