This is what we've been up to today:
EmmyKate came home from church with me today and we had lots of fun with Uncle David! We came back to our apartment, and played "the weed!" (the Wii!), colored, gave Millie lots of treats, and played in our "backyard" aka, the patio! Then, we went to McDonalds and to see my Nana at the nursing home. It was lots of fun to have her for a couple of hours.. We think she hung the moon, so it always warms my heart to spend time with her!
Then, we came home and I made the most, delicious, amazing frosting for these cupcakes. Oh, my goodness, I wanted to lick the entire bowl.. But, I refrained! I am in charge of making the birthday cake for a girl at work, so I made cupcakes! I iced 48 cupcakes, and I think they turned out pretty cute! I'm pretty proud of myself - I didn't even sneak a taste.
Tonight, we're going to grill out with our best friends before they leave for a week long vacation in Mexico.. I'm only slightly jealous! Ok, okay, majorly jealous.
Oh, and I went to Sunday School for the first time since my freshman year of college today. I really liked it! I felt so welcomed there.. as soon as I walked in the door, the teacher said, "Are you Kristen!!?" and just gave me a big hug.. I was never nervous (ok, I totally was on the way there), and I even talked in the class! I learned quite a bit about wives submitting to their husbands.. which I'll share in another post. I'm already looking forward to next week!

She had so much fun and those cupcakes are so cute! Did you use a special tool with them?
Nieces are sooo much fun! Can't wait to join you in the fun of nephews, too! Love you!
