Big Announcement

Sorry for the delay in the "big announcement"...but, some things happened to complicate things a little bit. Nevertheless, the big news is that I got a new job!!!! I know this is not wedding related, and I sometimes get in trouble when I write things that have to do with my life and not the wedding.. But, oh well. After some crazy things went down at my old job, I ended up walking out of there Wednesday at noon, with my Mom, EmmyKate and Melanie in tow helping me clean out my office.. Jocelyn, I remember not too long ago when we were hauling all of your stuff out of that same office... I start my new job at The Alzheimer's Association on July 28th! So, I have a week and a half of nothing to do! It's great! But, doubtful that I'll have nothing to do.

David and I are going apartment re-hunting on Monday so that we can look for something closer to the new job. It's off of 59 North. That's far. I can see Texas Children's Hospital from the parking lot of the office, so, again, Jocelyn, if you find yourself there again (which I hope you don't), I can definitely come over for a visit! And, I am re-meeting with the florist, because I decided that I don't like the flowers we chose, and I'm having all kinds of anxiety about it.

So, hopefully the time will go by slowly, but I know it won't. It sure will be nice to not have to get up, shower, get dressed and out the door by a certain time though. Have you looked at the countdown on the top of the blog? Only 83 days left! Wooow!!!!!
